Bio

I am currently Associate Professor of Organisational Cognition and Director of the Research Centre for Computational & Organisational Cognition (CORG), University of Southern Denmark, Slagelse.

From March 2020 I have taken the role of editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Organizational Theory and Behavior.

My research focuses on socially-based cognition, rational organizational processes, and individual social responsibility. I am author of more than 100 publications. I am particularly proud of the theoretical work developed in the monograph Extendable Rationality (2011, Springer) and of the first edited book on Agent-Based Simulation of Organizational Behavior (with M. Neumann; 2016, Springer). I have recently published another monograph, entitled Computational Organizational Cognition (Emerald), that is a synthesis of the work conducted after 2011 and outlines the research agenda for my future studies.
