CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

This workshop invites extended abstracts that address methodological issues in humanities and social sciences – both constructively and critically – arising at the intersection between computational and interpretive research approaches.  Topics include but are not limited to:

  • Frameworks for integrating computation and interpretation

  • The role of qualitative data in computational research

  • The role AI-generated content for knowledge and meaning production

  • Knowledge claims and epistemic justifications of diverging methodologies

  • AI and the humanities

  • AI and social sciences  

  • Philosophical and sociological analyses of such endeavors

 

Please submit an extended abstract of no more than 1000 words (excluding bibliography) by September 16th, 2024 (23:59 CET).
